Smoke and Mirrors
March 20th, 2006 | I am working on a new song for the album[1] called “Smoke and Mirrors”. I’ve been pretty busy as of late and haven’t had much time to do any songwriting, but this one has been coming to me in bursts. I recorded a small part of it (the chorus) and you can listen to it on my Myspace page. Here are the lyrics for the chorus:
it’s all smoke and mirrors
distracting from the real thing
and i’ve been perfecting the illusion for years
performing for a crowd ten thousand wide
