Pact

Today during the Super Bowl, Shawn and I made a pact.

If/when the Chicago Cubs make it to the World Series, Shawn and I are going to attend game one of the series. No matter how far away we are from each other and the game. No matter how old we are. No matter how much it costs. We are going. Together (insert a tear here).

I wouldn’t be a Cubs fan if it weren’t for Shawn, so what better person with whom to attend their first World Series in the twenty-first century (let’s pray)? This pact will be really cool and movie-like, we decided, if the Cubbies make it when we’re in our 80’s and we’re just a couple of old guys who haven’t seen each other in 20+ years.

Go Cubs.

You will also need to paaay for these tickets on your own. Will you need a designated driver? where do I apply? Mom K

Know what would be really funny? If we were going to the world series in October, ruining the 80 year old reunion. HAHA! Go Cubs!
