No Shave November

Exactly what it says. It’s November. There’s no shaving. No Shave November. It’s brilliant. A big “thank you” to Brandon M. for informing me of this wonderful event.

I happened to get a one month head start on the festivities. I know of a few people, including my brother and Tom (you’re not shaving, are you?) who are participating. This is not just for men, however. Women, don’t shave your legs for a month. I’ve heard that sliding into bed after a nice leg shave is very nice (agian, I’ve heard). Imagine how nice it would feel on December 1.

Last night Shawn suggested that I shave all of the beard except for my “bushy, Tom Selleck mustache”. C’mon, Shawn. Have a little respect for No Shave November.

Jake,
Let me take the time to thank you for instituting No-Shave-November. It’s starting to catch on at Valley. Now when Choralation has its cast photos done at the end of November (the 29th to be exact!), I’ll have a bunch of peach-fuzzed faces… and the guys will be stubbly too. Thanks, man! This is a real winner! Had I known of this festivity earlier I could have planned accordingly!

Um, as a lady who’s not shaved her legs for at LEAST that long, that little anecdote isn’t really true. Sorry. I noticed that you didn’t suggest we incorporate the ban on our armpits, hmmm? If no-shave November truly means that, you might not want to suggest that to the ladies. Just a thought. :)

Tried it and maid it all the way till last night but at the fire house they tied me up and shaved me!
